Our Story

Army Public School Pathankot stands as a beacon of academic excellence and disciplined learning in the region. The institution began its journey in April 1982 as Army School Sujanpur, evolving from a Regimental Garrison School under the aegis of HQ 21 Sub Area. Initially housed in re-appropriated buildings of 5021 ASC Battalion in the military station near Sujanpur town, the school steadily expanded in both infrastructure and curriculum.

With a vision to impart quality education to the children of defense personnel, the school has grown consistently, introducing higher classes and state-of-the-art facilities over time. From its humble beginnings, APS Pathankot has transformed into a full-fledged senior secondary institution, affiliated with CBSE and governed by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).

Today, the school boasts a modern campus with world-class infrastructure, strong academic credentials, and a rich legacy of nurturing responsible, future-ready citizens.
